Open Enrollment is November 1 - December 15
Now is the time to enroll in an individual health insurance plan on or off the Marketplace. Depending on your income, you may qualify for an advanced premium tax credit which can help pay part of your health insurance premium. If you enroll in a plan during open enrollment your effective date will be January 1, 2019.
Following are other situations that may qualify you to apply for coverage outside open enrollment:
Open Enrollment is October 15 - December 7
Now is the time to review your current medicare advantage or Part D prescription drug plan to make changes for January 1, 2019.
If you are not currently enrolled in Medicare but will be turning 65 “you have three months before, the month of, or three months after to elect a Medicare Advantage plan.” Should you wish to enroll in a medicare supplement plan you have six months from the first day of the month in which you are 65 or older and enrolled in Medicare Part B.
